Background Paper

Again, I made my own background paper for this card. I used Liquid Applique for the center of the flower. It is so.....puffy. I like it. What do you think? Too busy?

Material:
Stamp set: Friends Never Fade
Paper & Ink: Early Espresso, Tempting Turquoise
Accessories: 5/8 grosgrain chocolate ribbon

Color Challenge

So I decided to do this weeks color challenge at Stacey's Stamping Stage. This is Curtain Call 35 and it was certainly a challenge for me. The most challenging part was incorporating the Tempting Turquoise. As you can see, I drew swirls on the background. The stamp set is a Hostess Level 1. It is a set of 5 and you can get it for free by hosting a qualifying workshop. Stop by my Stampin' Up! web site for other great ideas.

Background

The background for this page was made using the July Fourth set on page 28 of the summer mini catalog. This is a great way to create background paper with stamps.
