Follow Up

I promised to reveal the cards from this post. Here's the first one. The feel of Autumn is in the air even though it's still summer. These colors give me a feeling of comfort. It's where the warmth meets the calm. Where summer segues into fall. The layout was a challenge from Split Coast Stampers SC225. The scene is inspired from a card I viewed on Split Coast which used a different stamp set and I cannot find now. The ingredients.

Ink: More Mustard, Chocolate Chip
Paper: Razzleberry Lemonade DSP, Very Vanilla, Crushed Curry, Bermuda Bay
Accessories: Chocolate Chip taffeta ribbon
Technique: Sponging, masking

Sketch Challenge #22

This is my entry for Kerin's challenge. The Friendship Blooms set is from Sale-A-Bration 2008. The sentiment is from Pocket Silhouettes. I made two cards but left the sentiment off the other. It's a nice space to write your own sentiment. The green paper used at the top of the card and inside was purchased at a craft store. This is also the first picture taken in my photo box. I think that's what it's called. I bought white foam board at the $1 store, cut and taped it together.

Summer and Fall

Here's a sneak peak at a couple of sample cards that I will be showing at a workshop at the end of the month. We will all be working on one layout - sort of like a sketch challenge. The guests can choose from multiple stamp sets, paper, and ink. I'm really excited to see what they come up with.
